Security for people who ship_
HackEx exists because most founders can't afford a security team, but attackers don't care about your budget.
// the_problem
Most MVPs launch exposed
Founders ship fast; that's the job. But the same speed that wins markets leaves admin panels open, secrets committed, debug pages live. Traditional security tools answer with CVE codes and acronym soup. Consultants cost more than the launch. So most teams ship blind and hope.
// what_we_built
A security team in software form
HackEx plays the role of a Tier 1–3 SOC, an on-call engineer and a junior pentester, continuously. It watches your sites, code and servers, detects threats in real time, explains everything in plain English, contains attacks reversibly, and opens fix PRs. You set how much autonomy it gets: always ask, smart defaults, or full bypass.
// what_we_believe
Principles we build by
Plain English, always
If a founder can't act on an alert, the alert failed, not the founder. Every finding ships with a scenario and a business impact, not a CVE dump.
Reversible by default
Containment is powerful precisely because it's undoable. Blocks expire, isolations lift, deploys roll back. Acting fast is safe when undo is built in.
Your data stays yours
The agent sends metadata, not your logs. Evidence stays on your server. Connection credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown back.
Humans decide, machines execute
Full autonomy is a setting, not a default. Novel judgement (business logic, legal calls, weird edge cases) stays with people.
